Pumpkin Patch Fun!

 

In the spirit of Fall, us Austin's loaded into the car and drove to Grandview to Bill's Berry Farm for their Fall Festival. We had SO much fun!! This time of year they have U-Pick Apples and Pumpkins, in anticipation of introducing solids soon I wanted to take advantage.

 

They had BBQ, live music, cider pressing, hay rides, petting zoo...yadda yadda watching all the little screaming children running around made me very excited to see Reagan running and jumping around.

Three Months

My Sweet Sweet Baby,

This month of your life has been busy! You grow and learn everyday, I love seeing your eyes light up as you see and experience new things.

You had your first hotel stay this past month when we went to Miss Danna's wedding in Coeur D' Alene, and you had your first of many trips to Pullman we of course stopped at 'Cougar Country' for a big cheesy burger! GO COUGS!!

I had a blast shopping for your Fall clothes, you got lots of long sleeves and pants! They are 6 and 9 month size, you are such a big healthy girl!

You have started to sleep longer at night, even slept through the night a couple times! Usually get up to eat about 4 am. You are a veracious eater, still nursing every 2-3 hours during the day.

You give us lots of smiles now and are a very happy baby! I keep saying it, but this month I am going to transition you from your bedside sleeper to your crib.

You are a very active talker! Telling us stories and talking to your friends, Sophie Bunny, Dingle Bear and Mr. Ceiling Fan.

I would say your eyes have completely turned brown, big brown eyes like mommy. Your hair has gotten longer and darker. I love how you sneeze in sets of three, every single time.

Reagan, you continue to show daddy and I how to be good patient parents. I can honestly say I love every minute of being home with you. You show me how important every passing second is. We love you sweet girl.

Fall Travels!

Our little family had a blast on our little vacation to Coeur D Alene Idaho for Danna and Tripp's Wedding. Reagan was such an amazing baby and was a breeze to travel with. It was her first hotel stay, and although the new sounds, smells and sights kept her up she was never fussy or cranky.

 

 

The Venue was gorgeous!! Danna ordered up some great weather too! Reagan slept straight through the ceremony.

We valued the time in the car while nursing and diaper changes and BLASTED the air conditioner!

We were so happy Nana made the trip over too!

Our Little Babe had a blast in her Jenny Jump Up today, she was able to swing around and bop up and down a little, but mainly enjoyed gumming the front of it! Love out little drool bug! I bet this time next month she will be a jumping machine!

Two Months

Dear Reagan,

Another month under my belt as a mommy to you my sweet girl. You have changed so much in this past month, holding your head up on your own and watching daddy and I move about the house. I love when your little brown eyes follow my movements. Your personality is showing more and more every day, you smile at us and have even laughed at daddy's silly antics.

You have developed a "fake cry", I find it hilarious to watch you demand attention with your pouty little lip and half assed yelps. You usually end it with a big smile once we come to your rescue.
You still love to be held while you sleep, well, and while you're awake too. Sometimes it's all I can do to get my teeth brushed and deodorant on in the morning, and yes I have learned to do it with you clung to me.

We have been battling heat rash this past month, with the hot weather its a full time job making sure you are staying cool enough but warm enough. I feel awful when you get the little red rash all over your chest and back, but it doesn't seem to bother you at all. It's starting to get better and the cooler end of summer weather is helping!

Night time sleeping is always a guessing game, sometimes we get up three times, sometimes just once. So I try and get to bed about 7pm so that I am rested up for you. It took me 2 months, but I realized I can not run off limited sleep I work best with a fresh mind. We are both happier when I get a good nights sleep.

You and I have had lots more adventures out of the house, I am finally comfortable taking you out. I no longer worry about what to do when you cry, or how to handle a poopy diaper. Just last weekend we had a girls day out shopping at craft stores! You slept the whole time, but I know you enjoyed it!
Well baby girl, I'm sure I'll be saying this a lot but time is flying by! You are growing up so quickly. I cant wait to see what tomorrow brings for you my little peanut.
