Party time, Excellent!

Reagan's first birthday party went so great, except for Reagan coming down with a fever and missing most of it...womp womp...I guess I can only plan so many of the details.

Of course I didn't get as many pictures taken as I would have hoped, but I'm thankful for the ones I did snap. I hope I can look back at these and remember how freakin awesome the day was!

To many more.

**Thanks to one of my most favorite websites, this post has gotten quite a bit of visitors! Thanks for stopping by, and if you would like to take a look at Reagan's second birthday party please visit us here.**

I purchased alligator and crawfish (lobster) cookie cutters on amazon, they were just a few bucks each and I was able to use them for lots of details for the party.

I made lemon rice crispy treats and cut them out, I did this about a month in advance - froze them and they came out perfect, a great way to check things off your list ahead of time. I topped them with fondant. I never froze the fondant (probably not a good idea), but I did make it ahead of time as well and just kept it in an air tight container.

I also covered the cake with fondant, it was my first time working with it (bet you couldn't have guessed *winky face*) I used store bought cake mix, which is where I think things went wrong. The cake itself wasn't sturdy enough to hold the fondant. It just kind of mushed together, and I had a hard time getting it smooth because of it. But I think it turned out cute, and it sure tasted great!

The crawfish boil was a great success! Something to cross off the bucket list, probably won't host one again- but so, so, so glad we did it once.
We even had leftovers for this little baby:: Best damn crawfish pizza this side of the Mississippi.
