20 Weeks

How far along: 20 Weeks {Sep 23rd}
Total weight gain: 12ish lbs
Maternity clothes: yes
Bump Size: I feel like it's the same, I keep saying that I will take a picture- but between packing and surviving it keeps getting missed
Sleep: pretty good this week, as long as I don't wake up when Cody gets up. Otherwise it makes for a LOOONG day
Best moment this week: The family has been a little under the weather, so it was a pretty low key week.
Miss Anything: Nope
Movement: Yes, Little baby Austin likes to bump around. It's so much fun to feel her and reminds me of what's to come.
Food Cravings: uhhh I don't think so, I guess you can count my two bagels a day as a craving
Anything making you queasy or sick: Saturday's seem to have a curse on me, the last two I've thrown up from morning sickness. There is a certain time slot that I have to get food into my tummy when I wake up. If I miss the time slot, or make a bad choice (too much sugar) than it's down hill fast.
Gender: Sweet Sweet baby girl
Labor Signs: No
Symptoms: I have been getting heartburn about 3pm everyday, it's about the time I need an afternoon snack, so I think I'm just waiting too long to eat.
Belly Button in or out: In still
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, but have been a little stressed with moving and money lately. Taking things one day at a time.
Looking forward to: Another trip to Bickleton this weekend, hoping to get a lot of work done. My favorite country girl's wedding is on Saturday! Wish I could enjoy a few adult beverages to celebrate...guess I'll just pretend.

Nursery decorating

The last couple weeks I've been having some major nursery decorating withdrawals, I didn't want to start any projects until we knew the gender (gender neutral is SO not my thing) so as soon as I knew we were having another girl I high-tailed it to the craft store to pick up glitter, pink paint and all things girlie!!

Here are a few projects I've been working on...
(the pictures are low quality cell phone pics, sorry)

Baby girls name! Carter is a family name (on my side) and I've had it picked out since Reagan was born.

A little 6x6 canvas that I painted. One of my favorite lines from the one and only Tom Petty.

I am in LOVE with these little guys, they are just little plastic farm animals that I've painted and plan to glue on to lids of glass jars to hold things like Q-tips, cotton balls, and other baby necessities.

And last but not least, pink ombre distressed mason jars. I can see some bright flowers peaking out of these little babes.

Baby Number Two...

Is a GIRL!!

We are so happy to be having another beautiful healthy girl!

I wanted to do something special for a 'gender reveal' but having a party just really isn't feasible, since all our family and friends are so spread out over the States.

SO I thought I would send some little treats in the mail, hoping they would make it in one piece!!

Of course with the help of Pinterest, I was able to whip up these little gems!

The day I had the ultrasound was also Cody's birthday, I wanted to make him some special treats as well!

Weekend Recap

We had a great weekend away, we spent it in Bickleton. And now Monday has rolled around and I'm having a hard time getting motivated to do anything. Not to mention I have a wicked headache that's been hanging out all morning/afternoon.

Here are a few pics to capture our weekend festivities.

We've been able to tell most of our friends and family, but for those who don't know, Cody got a new job in the Tri Cities, and we'll be moving our little family into this beauty of a house in a month and a half.

We couldn't be more excited. We know we have a lot of hard work ahead of us, but it will be worth it in the end.

14 Months Old

Another month has come and gone, they seem to be going faster and faster.

You are at such a great age, you are a breeze to take out in public (for the most part). Great sleeper! Great eater! Love to learn and explore new things. You are a champion kiss blower, and like to give high fives.

We have so much fun during the days, we listen to lots of music and dance around singing.

You are still in 12 month clothes, and will be for awhile is my guess, you are such a petite little thing these days.

Daddy and I love you more and more everyday. You are such a joy and treasure to have in our lives. We are lucky you chose us.
